The Haven is built with thick orthopedic foam that actually supports their weight without sinking to the ground — especially important for large breeds, senior dogs, and dogs with joint or hip issues. Three bolster sides give them somewhere to rest their head and feel secure, while the plush fleece surface keeps them warm and comfortable year-round. The foam base ranges from 3" thick in the Medium up to nearly 5" in the XXL, so even the biggest dogs get real support. The cover zips off completely and is machine washable — because dogs are messy and you shouldn't need to fight your dog's bed every time it needs cleaning. A waterproof liner underneath protects the foam from accidents, and the heavy-duty oxford cloth bottom keeps the bed from sliding around on hardwood, tile, or laminate. Available in four sizes to fit dogs from 55 lbs all the way up to 154 lbs.

Is this bed actually supportive, or will it flatten out after a few weeks?

The base is thick orthopedic sponge foam — 3" in the Medium, up to nearly 5" in the XXL. It's dense enough to hold its shape under heavy dogs without sinking to the floor. The bolster sides are filled with PP cotton that holds its form over time.

Can I wash it?

Yes. The entire plush cover zips off and is machine washable. There's a waterproof liner underneath that protects the foam from accidents, so even if your dog has a mess, the foam stays clean.

What size should I get for my dog?

Go by your dog's weight. Medium fits dogs up to 55 lbs, Large fits 55–88 lbs, XL fits 88–132 lbs, and XXL fits 132–154 lbs. When in doubt, size up — dogs like to stretch out and you want them fully supported, not hanging off the edge.

Will this slide around on my floors?

No. The bottom is heavy-duty 600D oxford cloth with a non-slip backing that grips hardwood, tile, and laminate. It stays where you put it.

Is this good for older dogs or dogs with joint problems?

That's exactly what it's designed for. The orthopedic foam supports their joints and keeps them off cold, hard floors. If your dog has hip issues, arthritis, or is recovering from surgery, this gives them a surface that actually absorbs their weight instead of pushing back on sore spots.

Can my dog use this inside a crate?

Check the dimensions against your crate's interior measurements. The Medium and Large may fit inside larger crates, but the XL and XXL are designed more as standalone beds for open rooms.

Will it smell when it arrives?

Some foam products have a slight smell out of the box. If you notice anything, unzip the cover, let the foam air out for a few hours, and it should be gone. The cover is also washable right out of the package if you want to freshen it up before your dog uses it.
